Catching a Good Wave at AQS Branson

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE paper piecing. It is my favorite way to create something! So at AQS Branson my Best Friend and I decided to take a class. The class was Wild Waves: Quick and Easy Piecing with Nancy Mahoney

Please check out Nancy's Website HERE. If you get a chance to take a class or read one of our her books, please do. She was seriously just wonderful. I loved the flow of pattern, so once I saw the pattern, I thought...OH, this would go perfect with some new fabric we got in:

• Fusion II - Swish - Royal

• Open Air - Pool Water - Teal

• Open Air - Pool Water - Ultra/Blue

My Best Friend and I have a little bet going as to who will finish our quilt first.

Here are the first few blocks...So...I will let's hope I get my quilt done first....more updates to come!
