We are announcing our UFO Contest! I am very excited to encourage everyone to finish those UFOs in 2025 and help me to finish up mine!

 

Contest Rules:

 

Time Period of Contest: 

  • You can submit projects between January 2, 2025, thru October 31, 2025.

  • You must submit all completed projects by November 30, 2025.

 

Number of Project you can submit:

  • You can submit up to 25 projects.

 

Prizes:

We will be drawing from the raffle tickets for the prizes at our 2025 Holiday Party.
 

What projects qualify and how many raffle entries do I get for a project:

You can get (3) Raffle Ticket entries for a completed Quilt.

FAQ:

 

What if I finish all the projects I submitted, can I submit more?

YES!  If you have not submitted 25 projects, you can submit more.  If you buy a new quilt and want to finish it this year, submit it!  Same rules apply.  You can submit Projects until October 31, 2025.   

 

What if I forget to put the contest tags on my pictures, will you still accept them?

No.  Sorry to make it fair we need to have the tag in the picture to accept the entry.

 

What if I just bought something and what to add it, but I already submitted stuff?

If you have not submitted 25 entries, you can submit more. 

 

What if I don’t have a printer at home?

If you reach out, we can mail you the tags or you can pick them up in the store.

 

What if I submit 10 projects and don’t complete them all? 

No worries!  You will get raffle entries for what you finish.

Taking Pictures of entries:

You will need to print this and cut out the TAGS.  You can reuse the TAGS for all projects.  If you don’t have a printer, please reach out and we can mail you the tags or you can pick them up from the store.

​IN PROGRESS TAG:

 

  • Take a picture of the current state of the project, with the IN PROGRESS TAG.  

  • You will do this for each project you are submitting.

​TABLE RUNNER COMPLETED TAG:

 

  • We don’t need to see the whole table runner.  Enough to see that it is using the same fabric and pattern from the original entry.

  • We need to see the quilting.

  • We need to see that it is bound.

QUILT TOP COMPLETED – NOT QUILTED OR BOUND:

 

  • Take a picture of the project, with the QUILT TOP COMPLETED, NOT QUILTED OR BOUND TAG.  

  • We don’t need to see the whole quilt.  Enough to see that it is using the same fabric and pattern from the original entry.

QUILT TOP QUILTED – NOT BOUND:

 

  • Take a picture of the project, with the QUILT TOP COMPLETED, QUILTED, NOT BOUND TAG. 

  • We don’t need to see the whole quilt.  Enough to see that it is using the same fabric and pattern from the original entry.

  • We need to see the quilting.

QUILT TOP COMPLETED – QUILTED AND BOUND:

 

  • Take a picture of the project, with the QUILT TOP COMPLETED, QUILTED AND BOUND TAG.  

  • We don’t need to see the whole quilt.  Enough to see that it is using the same fabric and pattern from the original entry.

  • We need to see the quilting.

  • We need to see that it is bound.

Submitting Project Via Email:

 

How to Submit your UNFINISHED projects via email:

  1. Take a picture of the project in its current state with the In Progress Tag

  2. Create an email with the following:

    1. Email Subject Line:  UFO Entry

    2. In the body of the email provide the following (see example below):

  • Your NAME

  • Your PHONE NUMBER

  • Your Address

    1. Attach your Entry Pictures (1 per project you are submitting with a maximum of 25 projects) – If you need to send multiple emails that is fine. 

  1. Send the email to customerservice@onthebiasdesigns.com

  2. We will send a confirmation of receipt within 3 business days

 

How to Submit your FINISHED projects via email:

  1. Take a picture of the FINISHED project in its current state with the appropriate Finished Tag

  2. Create an email with the following:

    • Email Subject Line:  UFO Finished

    • In the body of the email provide the following (see example below):

      • Your NAME

    • Attach your Finished Pictures. – If you need to send multiple emails that is fine.

  3. Send the email to customerservice@onthebiasdesigns.com

  4. We will send a confirmation of receipt within 3 business days

Submitting Project In-Person:

 

How to Submit your UNFINISHED projects in-store:

  1. Take a picture of the project in its current state with the In Progress Tag (1 per project you are submitting with a maximum of 25 projects)

  2. Come into the store and show an associate your pictures.

  3. They will request the following information:

    • Your NAME

    • Your PHONE NUMBER

    • Your EMAIL

    • Your Address

  4. We will give you an email confirmation of receipt within 3 business days.

 

How to Submit your FINISHED projects in-store:

  1. Take a picture of the FINISHED project in its current state with the appropriate Finished Tag

  2. Come into the store and provide you name and show an associate your pictures.

  3. We will send a confirmation of receipt within 3 business days
